OASE

Currently, access to the oasis is possible in compliance with the AHA rules guaranteed. In addition, counselling by phone, email and at the door is possible as well as taking a food bag, drinks and clothes.

The Clothes Closet Distribution takes place on Mondays 10:30-12:00 and by appointment. Access to the Lockers is possible during the entire opening hours. We are currently unable to offer the internet and shower facilities.

Within the framework of outpatient support, the OASE offers 11 places in three housing projectsn in different Kölner districts. The tenancies are limited in time and bound to cooperation within the framework of outpatient accompaniment. If you are interested, please contact the Oasis office during opening hours.

In a separate Residential house OASE has created permanent housing for homeless people. Everything is currently occupied.

An integral part of the association is the Street social work also in Romanian language. Outreach work offers the possibility to reach people who have had no contact with the help system so far. Street social work works at a low threshold and is oriented towards the living environment and the living space of the people.

The Oasis is the publisher of the Street newspaper "Draussenseiter. The sale of the newspaper gives homeless people and people in social difficulties a new perspective. The starting capital is available at the OASE. If you buy the first 10 newspapers, you get a seller's card and 10 free newspapers. All further newspapers have to be bought for 1.10 Euros at the sales point and sold on the street for 2.20 Euros. In this way, the vendor receives half the price of the newspaper: he earns 1.10 euros per newspaper. Anyone interested is welcome to contact the OASE office or the editorial office.
