Our Day centre "ZoHus by street watchmen" becomes in addition to the daily supply walk through the city centre with a hot meal, drinks and, if necessary, hygiene articles and clothing (daily approx. 17:15-20 hrs) operated.
The street guards are out almost every day in the Köln city centre to provide the homeless and houseless with what they need most - a hot meal, drinks, hyiene items and clothes. The start is Zülpicher Platz. Then it goes along the Ringe to Ehrenstr./Breitestr. further over Hohe Str. and Schildergasse to Neumarkt.where the tour ends.
In addition to the tour, we offer the following at our community café „ZoHus by Straßenwächter“ on Mon. and Wed. – Sat from 3 pm to 8 pm and on Tuesdays from 3 pm to 6 pm, the opportunity to have a (hot) drink, enjoy a light snack, receive clothing and toiletries, or use the internet. These services are free of charge for people experiencing homelessness. You can also use a washing machine or tumble dryer for a small fee. From time to time, we organise special events where people experiencing homelessness can, for example, get a new haircut or receive a surprise Christmas present.
